To commemorate the 150th anniversary of Vittorio Gnecchi’s birth, we are pleased to present a special concert to be held on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at Villa Gnecchi in Verderio.
The concert will feature the ARTRE Trio from Salzburg—Chiara Schmidt (piano), Julia Vogel (clarinet), and Beatrice Lanaro (flute)—whose recently released CD includes two of Vittorio Gnecchi’s chamber works: Andante Religioso e Danza Pirrica. These previously unpublished compositions were edited and adapted by our Artistic Director, Marco Iannelli, with the aim of making this little-known part of Gnecchi’s musical legacy both performable and accessible to modern audiences.
It is especially meaningful that these works, most likely composed here in Verderio, will receive their first public performance in the very place where they originated, alongside other works featured in the concert programme.
